Rockcraft Sugar Cookies

1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup margarine or butter
2 eggs
1 cup oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
4 1/2 cups flour

Cream sugars & margarine. Add eggs & oil. Then add salt, soda & cream of tartar with first cup of flour. Mix in the remaining flour. Drop by spoonfuls onto uncreased cookie sheet & flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes—just until the edges begin to color.
