Yellow Pea Soup Canadian Style

From Lewiston Band Booster Club Cook Book, Lewiston, Maine • 1955

1 lb. spare ribs
1 cup yellow dried peas
1 medium onion
pepper

Soak spare ribs and peas, then rinse and bring to a boil in different pans. Let meat cool and skim off fat.

Combine all ingredients, cover with water and cook until tender. Potatoes may be added, if desired.
